Trade the picks - We don't trust you

D rookie of the year, Verse was picked at 19 by the Rams.
He was my #1 wish list target for the Falcons at 8. Obviously, Penix may end up being a better pick in the long run.
We know there is going to be a great player at 15. Will we take the right MFer is the question. History doesn't make me feel good about it.

I say trade the picks and get free agents and 1 year loaner guys via trade. Let's go full Rams and say F those picks for the next couple years.

I agree, I don’t trust them. But We are pretty strapped for cash. We can’t rely on FAs.
Gotta hope they can make the right decision at 15.

Maybe we could restructure some guys. I know Kirko contract is killing us and we eat a ton of it the day we cut him.

They can free up plenty of cap space by cutting certain guys and finding trade part for certain guys. Will they?
I’d expect Cousins to be cut or traded by 3/1 when he’s owed a significant roster bonus.

Look at all of the UGA players on the Eagles getting a ring tonight. Falcons passed on all of them.

I will caveat that I have little to no hope in them.
Is there a somewhat productive, slow but effective LB playing in Wyoming or South Dakota or something that the falcons could draft? That way they can try appear to be smarter than they actually are.

I wouldn't take Burden. Watching the combine one of the best looking wrs is ranked 340th. Donta Thorton from Tennessee is 6'5 ran a 4.30 40. He is catching everything, runs smooth routes. He just makes it look effortless. Dude really helped himself in this combine.
