I am surprised how Auburn has fallen so far behind. at 49. If you click on the link or go to On3 and it will show the formula how each team is ranked as it is right now.
Maybe the experts don't believe Freeze is the answer at Auburn.

Clemson is too low, they’re an impressive young group. They’re going to hand LSU their 10th consecutive opening week loss.

It's the rankings for the past season. Not future rankings.

Finally, someone gave OP something he can work with.

And here we go...

Op may have turned a corner. He didn't even say Mizzou should be ranked ahead of LSU.

Nope! Go to On3 site and find this article and you will see it comparing results from this past season and other factors. I just listed the ranking in order, that is all. It is too much for me to do everything. That is why you need to either click on the link or go to On3 to find this article and see how they ranked the current teams right now. It will continue to change just before the start of the season.

This is for this coming season. I am not the one ranking each team. This is as of right now for this coming season. There may be more coaching changes and recruiting class addition and/or subtraction. Where was LSU ranked last year's pre season or even at the beginning of last season?

Thank you for saying it though. It needed to be said.

LSU that high is a joke.

Did you know that Dan Mullen is the HC? That is why UNLV is set just a tad below Auburn.

Only reason LSU is that high is because the LSU roster has a top 10 roster. By far better than Mizzou. But what has been holding LSU back is BK the HC. Maybe this year might break through and make the playoffs. We will wait and see if this will hold true this time for BK and LSU.

Aggy rounding out "the next tier," right along with Illinois and UNLV.
