I mean last time we beat you by 20. Are yall gonna show up?

Or are the Aggies really going to beat you by 20 on your own court?

The good news is Terry has cool glasses.

We are in a win/win situation imo..

Lose and maybe we get a new coach this year..
Win and ..

Hmm.. I never want to lose a game in any sport, but this team isn't good and I don't have any faith in Terry.. so I'm sort of indifferent.. that's a bad place to be..

It's basketball.. at the end of the day, I care, but I don't really care.. it's a distant third for me. I don't watch the NBA anymore, just not a big fan of the game as I get older..

Football
Baseball

Nobody cares about bouncy ball except schools that have crappy football teams.

Makes sense an aggy fan would be so in to bouncy ball

Bwahahahahahaha!

I couldn't give a flying frick about basketball. I had to look at our record to even see where we are.

Baseball, however, matters. We'll see where we are soon enough

This although, for me, I'd rank baseball #1 and football #2.

Last time I sat and watched a Texas basketball game was when rick was coaching and we had durant in the tourney. Lost a game we should have won. Basketball matters a lot to a lot of people. They claim cdc cares about basketball but we'll find out just how much after this season.
I just can't find any give a shite in me.

Austin is pretty much a MLS Soccer and F1 Racing town anyway. At least that’s the impression the sports talk radio gave when I lived there years ago.

When the Longhorn athletics aren’t doing well - they don’t even talk about them. They talked about F1 racing all day, and wouldn’t touch negative topics.

Not gonna lie. If we lose I’ll be pissed off. Otherwise why keep score.
I think it will be closer but I don’t know if we can make up 20 points

So yes I think we will play and I doubt we can win and that sucks

Depends on the station. We have a couple that focus almost exclusively on Longhorn sports.
Soccer and F1 are growing in popularity but considering both were brought in it makes sense. I am no fan of either but a lot of people are. Soccer is definitely gaining in popularity due to all the foreign workforce that are currently residing in the city.
It can be fun to watch soccer with them. I don't give 2 shits about the game but watching them can be pretty funny. They take that shite seriously.

Nothing to get excited about. After such a good season in football, I’m not willing to devote time to what I’ve seen so far. Besides, I hear our coach may be on the way out. Perhaps that change is needed. Maybe I’ll care then.

We aren't exactly a bball blue blood. Probably because of people like me who don't give a shite about bball.
but for those that do, we can probably do better than terry.

You're telling me that when aggie bball is down that 100% of your fans still care passionately? You can't be that stupid. Everyone has bandwagon fans.

Makes sense. And the MLS team being good certainly helps.

I was just remembering that the feeling of a college town is long gone. It’s much more of a diverse interests city now.

The F1 track has been a big success. I never knew how popular F1 racing was going to be in the US. That has massive big dollar appeal and promotes international tourism. This one will grow.

So I can see why the local college teams won’t get much AirPlay when they lose.
