What is Your Relationship to Your School?

How did you become a fan of your school/team?
I grew up going to South Carolina football games (depressing due to the 0-21 stretch). I graduated from South Carolina in 2012. Still a pretty active alumnus with season tickets to football, basketball, and baseball with VERY limited returns on investments.
I don't donate to NIL because I don't believe in it. Go Cocks

Like all good Mizzou fans, I was born into this mess and never really had a choice because otherwise I would've been an Alabama or a Georgia fan or something. I've had family in Columbia since the 60s. I and most of my family are alums. Still get over there for football games when I can, but it's tough with a family and all the commitments that come with it.

I'm trying to make it to every SEC stadium. Mizzou will hopefully be added to the list this fall.

I graduated from Mizzou in 2018 and lived in mid-Missouri most of my life. I bleed black and gold until the day they put me in the dirt.

I went to Walmart to get a new pack of bic razors and saw the most awesome purple tshirt. The rest is history. I give about 250K/yr to NIL with pretty good ROI. Geaux tigers.

They had me when Aaron Wallace held Andre Wares helmet over his head after ripping his head off.
It’s been a while since we’ve been that good.

Proud undergrad (1990) and postgrad (1992) of the University of Missouri. Was a student-assistant/manager for Norm Stewart from 1986-1990 which ended up being the ride of a lifetime given the success we had over that span in Big 8 basketball. Growing up in Central Missouri, Mizzou has always and will always be my team, win or lose.
Having said all that, was always a full supporter of the move to the SEC because of what happened to what was once a great league that we belonged to for reasons too long to go into a post like this. Loving life in this conference and the challenges it brings us.

UGA class of 1993.
I had to endure the Ray Goof years as an undergrad so I consider myself entitled to gloat during the Kirby years.

Born & raised a USC Trojans fan.
A Georgia Bulldog fan by the grace of God.
UGA = Undergraduate degree = fan & graduate of school
USC = Graduate degree = fan & graduate of school
I won't post my years at each school. Just suffice to say that they were both........

I have an undergrad and masters degree from Georgia. Both my parents went, my sister went, a couple uncles went (one played on Vince Dooley's first team), and a great grandfather taught agriculture in the early 1900's.

Raised in Florida but my parents are from a small town about 45-minutes south of Athens. Decided to explore the world outside of Florida and UGA was the choice.
Met my wife there. All three kids went there. Two of the three met their spouses there.

I bought a t-shirt at K-Mart in 1997 (Wal-Mart's were too expensive and uppity).

Grew up in Tuscaloosa. After moving away for undergrad came back for grad school at Alabama. After graduating spent 6 years in three different states hopping around a few different jobs before I ended up back in Alabama. Two cities later, Dothan and Birmingham, I made it to the country outside of Tuscaloosa.

I was a manager for the 93-94 season. Great memories!
I'm a graduate, siblings were graduates of Mizzou as where our parents. Dad played for Dan Devine in the late 50s/early 60s. Black and Gold blood to say the least.
