Thoughts? I'll be the first to admit that South Carolina is too high. I'd have us in the 12-15 range. Auburn up at 11 is also pretty surprising.

At least two of those teams won’t be ranked at season end lol

This will be fun to look back on after A&M goes 8-5 again.

I thought that Ohio State was losing too much to be ranked 2nd, until I looked at 7,8,9

Nah, pretty happy with it. Massive amounts of returning production, good talent on the roster, lots of doubting from outside the program. Lots of good ingredients. Up to them to use it to their advantage.

They return 18 starters and went 10-3 this year, they should definitely be top 15 but top 10 is a bit much - they dont have the high end caliber athletes to do much more than they accomplished this season IMO

Lot of these rankings dont make much sense

Auburn at 11?

Oklahoma in the top 25 is laughable as well.

If Auburn cuts down on turnovers and OU doesnt get the injury bug, both of those programs should be ranked. #11 is a bit aggressive for the barn... OU has more upside with Mateer

With portal / seeing whose returning, this would be my top 25 (no order):

SEC:

Texas
UGA
LSU
Bama
Florida
Vols
USC
OU
Auburn

B1G:

PSU
Oregon
OSU
Illinois
Indiana
Michigan
Iowa
Minnesota

ACC:

Clemson
G Tech
Miami
SMU

Big 12:

K State
Kansas
ASU

Other:

ND

SC at 8? I mean, I'm a SC fan and I think they're high. We're 20-25 at best.

This might be the dumbest preseason ranking I've ever seen.

OU has more upside

Ou should at the very least improve. They lost 5 of their top 6 receivers mid season. Everyone will look terrible if you wipe away that much of a single position group
