All the money in the world can’t buy experience and chemistry.

We’re middle of the SEC in football NIL. That’s something we very much need to fix.

Also, Goodman isn’t an A&M fan.

If this season has taught us anything, it’s that, in order to be a great basketball team, you need to trust one another enough to get in a fist fight on a plane.

This.

You can't just out talent teams in this conference anymore either. There was a lot of hub bub about some of the guys Pope brought in through the portal but despite being short of time he did really well bringing in pieces that fit versus the highest $$ guys. And it's made all of the difference.

LSU is 2-0 against that list.

Bruce and co are some of the best in the country at talent evaluation. Sure, they get a couple 4 or 5 stars in a cycle but the rosters are always full of players that have been overlooked or undervalued.

That's a strange group. You'd think teams like UCLA or Syracuse would be there given the huge markets they're in.
I guess we also have Tyson chicken helping us out...;)

Indiana just needs a coaching change and they'll get one soon. I think they are poised to return to greatness in the NIL era. They unfortunately got saddled with the wrong guy to kick it off.

Yep. This is where I'm looking for Pope magic. Get some freshman that fit his scheme, 5* or not. Keep pieces from current team that fit well, and get the rest from the portal.

That is the formula for success in modern basketball.
