Captain America producer explains how adamantium helps 'lay the groundwork' for X-Men
Marvel producer Nate Moore doesn't want the eventual "X-Men" movie to "feel like you're going to drink from a fire hose": "We want to start sprinkling in these things."

It’s less than five weeks until the first big opening of 2025, that being Disney/Marvel Studios‘ Captain America: Brave New World, which hit tracking service Quorum and is expected to do $86M to $95M over the 3-day of the 4-day Valentine’s Day/Presidents Day weekend on Feb. 14. The Friday through Monday figure is also bound to be $100M+ at this point in time.
That projection takes into account the change-up in cast in the Captain America franchise, and the overall reset of the franchise. The next installment is a grounded title ala 2014’s Captain America: Winter Soldier which opened to $95M over 3-days on April 4-6.
On Quorum, Captain America: Brave New World has the most awareness of movies opening in the next month at 58 higher than Universal’s Wolf Man (44, opening Jan. 17), Lionsgate’s Flight Risk (37, Jan. 24) and StudioCanal/Sony’s Paddington in Peru (36) which is also opening over the Presidents Day stretch. Captain America: Brave New World is strongest with men, of course, with women under 35 not that far behind men over 35 in awareness.
quote:
Among 4-day opening records for Presidents Day weekend, Marvel Studios owns the top three with 2018’s Black Panther ($242.1M), Deadpool ($152.1M) and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania ($120.3M). Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania posted a 3-day of $106.1M, Deadpool‘s was $132.4M, while Black Panther‘s was $202M.

I think the new preview I saw was before Sonic 3, and it had me more intrigued than it previously did.

I don't know much about the movie business but isn't this saying it would have the worst opening of all those movies?
It should do alright. Disney finally wised up and stayed under the radar for awhile, enough time has passed to where everyone forgot that awful series they made, and Captain America is a good enough title to get people interested.

I'll watch it so I'm not lost come the next few Avengers movies but I'm cautiously neutral about it.
I'm just done with Hulk like villains and villains that essentially possess the same powers as some of the heros.
Red Hulk
Abomination
Flag Smashers
Etc
Just kinda boring

I'll give em some money.

It still needs to make close to a billion dollars to break even. That's gonna be tough, especially if reviews are bad.

Has Marvel ever explained how Sam, who although fit, has no Super Soldier Serum or any other "powers" is able to do the same stuff as Cap, and has a snowball's chance in hell against Hulk?

Nobody knows what the budget is. Those $400 million budget articles are pure speculation.

How are those great points unless u have no clue what you are talking about.
The entire premise of the captain America show was how he was able to fill the void Steve Rogers left behind without being able to match his abilities due to not having taken the serum.
He is pointedly not able to do the same things Steve Rogers did.
We've also seen in interviews for this movie that he has to do things using wakanda/suit technology because his body can't take the same punishment that Steve Rogers could
Thanks for adding to my nomination of you as worst poster of the year tho, you just solidified my point that you don't actually watch anything, u just hate on everything.

Hopefully in one of the future Doom movies they kill this Cap and install Bucky. Only way to move the franchise forward.

Did I hit a nerve? You should really calm down, it's just a comic book movie. It's not that serious. You seem a bit unhinged

Simmer down Poindexter.
The Captain America Show got lambasted by the critics that I trust so I for one didn't waste my time with it.
That's why I ASKED a question. I didn't make any points.
So is the answer that his suit is suped up with Wakanda tech?
So he's basically Ironman with wings and a shield?
Do we need another one of those?

This is exactly why I don't care about this movie at all. When the first wave of Disney+ shows were announced, I was most excited about Falcon and WS. It was so disappointing.

+1 I can't believe how upset that made him. Just wow

I was responding to rldsc, he said you made a great point when u said the new captain America was able to do the same things as the old one without the serum.
It was a terrible point because the main storyline of becoming captain America is about how he cannot match Steve Rogers abilities without the serum.

Meh I could care less. It's just weird to see people spout shite off and then u just joined in because it aligned with your agenda.
It was obvious the guy you were agreeing with hasn't even watched the show. The blind following the blind is no way to go through life homie.
Yet you were happy to do it because he said what u wanted to hear.
I wouldn't recommend watching the show tho, it wasn't that great. I do think the movie will be good.

U made 7 different snow white threads lol u really gonna claim u don't have an anti-Disney agenda?
U just hating on captain America that u haven't watched has nothing to do with that?

- how much less could you care?
- I said I didn't watch it. Nor should I have to if the writing was worth a frick.
- So you call me "the blind following the blind" and then say "I wouldn't recommend watching the show tho,"
Are you bipolar or retarded?
