Good for Kentucky. Didn’t know they had that much interest in football.

How up to date is this list you’re sharing?

They only played 3 games with metered viewership, one being against UGA that got over 8 mil. Completely skews the average.

8 out of the top 10 most watched schools are in the SEC, yet Big 10 is still making more money per school off of TV deals. Thank you, Greg Sankey.

What percentage of that is hate-watching?

Earlier in the season this board was filled with posts about TV money that the SEC received from the networks. I’m thinking many of those aged like an open milk carton

UGA played the highest profile games in the regular season so this makes sense. When UGA plays TX, it's both UGA and TX fans tuning in. When UGA plays Bama, it's UGA plus Bama fans tuning in. With UGA's schedule this year, this does not surprise me.

Well Kirk Herbstreit looks like an idiot.
Bolded schools not in the top 10 most-watched.

“We could not have paid for a better final four with Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State and Texas,” Herbstreit told On3. “The only one missing is Michigan ...
“If you are asking us, who would we want, we’ll take Ohio State every year, Notre Dame every year. This is a ratings bonanza,” he explained

Is there a full list? I'd love to compare SEC 9-16 to the Big Ten's (mostly to lol at CBS)

The problem isn't with ND or Penn State; they have plenty of fans. Regular season was because both had a terrible schedule.
The funny thing is that they had a dream of a final four lineup and the ND game couldn't even beat Texas-Arizona State (and came nowhere near Alabama-Michigan from last year) because they put it two weeks later on a Thursday. If I hadn't had a work meeting that day, I would've completely forgotten about that game

Looks like we need to renegotiate our TV contract...

So, Michigan and Ohio State should have joined the SEC instead Texas and Oklahoma?
