Him, ricky Williams and the excitement of the 2005 national championship are the only things the university of Texas has ever provided anyone outside their weird arse bubble.

From very brief research it looks like 2 of the 32 were active students. Idk how many were previous alum or potential future students but yes they had some boots on the ground.

One of the best academic institutions and athletic programs in the country producing a hell of a lot more than that is objective fact, not my subjective opinion. I have family that grew up in/went to Tennessee, kids have friends there, fun state, good college town, etc., but the message board Vols are certainly a discredit to the school and the state.

Yall are a good academic institution. Im not doubting that. There's probably some middle eastern accountants and artists that I owe some praise to. It's just not the flagship that it should be. I think the majority of the university of Texas students hate the state of Texas because it's red.

I have noticed the OSU band the past few weeks. They play some kick arse music, not the old tired shite that everybody plays.
I'm glad that somebody else noticed.
If you aren't a Liberal when you're young, you don't have a heart. If you aren't a Conservative when your old, you don't have a brain.".
Sounds like you have neither.
And you clearly have no idea about Texas, neither the University nor the State.
The list of Texas' Distinguished Alumni, in all facets of life, is too many to list. Go Google it.
For any major University that teaches and supports the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution, there is a delicate balance to be maintained.
Unlike most of the top Universities in the US, Texas allowed "protests" on campus. What Texas did not allow was for them to protest in a manner that they could occupy and control buildings on campus.
The University of Texas, understanding the City of Austin's "uneven" enforcement the law, made sure that the State provided law enforcement to supplement the University PD. Some were not happy with that. Okay. Most were fine with that. Better.
UT has a liberal reputation, but the Business and STEM colleges comprise ~ half of the students. Those tend to be very conservative courses of study, as they are grounded in science, laws, and regimented regulations.

I like when grifting accounts say “who did this” like they didn’t steal it from the source

They also could cling to the belief that in the N.C. 2010 game against
Alabama and Mack Brown's weeping sob story ,
up to present day , "if only Colt McCoy had not been hurt....."
