If he did it certainly wasn't enough to overturn the call on the field.

Hate Texas but it wasn’t a fumble. Also OSU has gotten away with a PI or 2

It was clearly loose before the knee was down.
i was shocked that they didn't overturn it.

He had a half inch of the ball balancing in his palm once it left his body. I 100% agree. If it wasn’t already coming out, and he had control, you would have to say he tossed it because there wasn’t any no further impact before it was completely lost. Don’t think a trained qb would purposely toss it.

No it wasn’t. It was in his hand. Ground can’t cause a fumble. Knee, wrist, and ball all touched the ground before the ball moved out of his hand.

True, but it was close. Questionable idea to put the backup in cold in such a big game. Nearly cost them.
