FWIW, Kentucky wasn't ranked pre-season in 2023 or 2024 either. Won their region in 2023 (lost in the LSU Super) and went to the CWS last season.

The last time A&M was preseason #1, we were a borderline host and lost to OM and TCU in regionals.
UT's ranking fourth in the SEC feels disrespectful. I know they lost a lot, but they also kept some talent and brought in a lot.

Alabama was very frustrating last year. I think some injuries hurt us down the stretch, but we won the series against:
LSU
Tennessee
Arkansas
South Carolina
Ole Miss
Still got swept in others, like Georgia. Then didn't make it past the regional.
Would rather make it to the Supers and maybe the WS rather than play "spoiler"

Season cant get here quick enough. Some people enjoy bowl season and the cfp. Others love march madness. My favorite time of year is early june when both softball and baseball regionals/supers/cws are going on.

You'd think they'd learn, but I'm glad they didn't. We were 4th in the TP last I saw(although that was several months ago), although 3rd in conference. Another brutal sport.
