Weaknesses: 3 point defense and 3 point shooting (at times). Size and no true dominant big.

Chris Jans is a very good coach. Wonder if a bigger program comes calling for him this offseason.

I actually think MSU is a good place for him. He wants nothing to do with NIL on a personal level. MSU is a place where he is actually able to let the others run that aspect of the show, and he just focuses on coaching. That won't be the case at many "bigger" programs.

Size. Teams like Auburn will be bad matchups for us. See last year when we swept two games from Tennessee but got killed by Auburn and Alabama.

The Hump will be a tough place for opponents this year.

Front court size. Our guards and perimeter defense is elite as we have a lot of length. We just don’t have a traditional center.

Sometimes we dwell a bit too much in our own perfection.

It’s a task we’ll have to overcome but thanks to our outstanding work ethic and unmatched grind [on] we should be able to conquer it.

I don’t really see a big disparity in size. Not saying AU won’t beat us, but similarly sized. Yeah, no true center, But Murphy and Nwoko are 6’10.

Wouldn’t make sense for him to go to any non blue blood school and those openings aren’t common nor currently available. State’s been to a Final 4, he can win here.

There is a lot to like about this team. Depth is good. Inside bigs are pretty solid w/Nwoko and Murphy playing.
Our weakness is we play down or up to our opponent on a given day. That will bite us a few times coming up during the season.
Our strength is we can beat anybody and everyone when we play our best game.

We will see how it goes going forward.

I could see North Carolina snagging Beard from Ole Piss before Jans.

Jans has much less "baggage" than Beard. Plus Jans has been more impressive than Beard. Why would they do that?

Jans isn’t a promoter or a people person, he also won’t get involved with NIL. Jans has his own baggage from a while back.
