Why did they bring that walk on from an Albany, GA private school? I'd like to know the answer.

frick off. We bring walk-ons to a lot of games that let us dress over cap. That wasn’t on him at all. Arrogant prick ref tripped over him and shoulda been a sideline warning at absolute max

Out of the gaffs in this game, that’s the one I’m least concerned about.

Probably not, at least Parker was exuberant for his own team unlike Pope.

Not we even score a touchdown from the 11. Didn't really matter

It’s a big deal for walk ons to go to a bowl game and to dress. Reward for a lot of work they did during the season. I was always happy for them when they got to make the trip and get the swag.
The kid was engaged and cheering and jumped and appeared to have been pushed or fell forward. Chickenshit call in a game of this magnitude and a big arse momentum kill.

That shouldn't have been a penalty at all. At worst, it should have been offset by a late hit on Stockton that wasn't called.

You're a douche for bringing this up. Kid was more of a DGD than most of the NIL players on the field, and will be your bosses boss.

I have watched that clip about 20 times and Jones only had the length of his right foot inside the white. So about 10” of his upper body was over the line when they collided. It wasn’t like he was out in the middle of the white. The ref was more to blame than Jones. He was tightroping about 8” inside the white line when he had 3-4 feet to the field of play. Very petty call.

It was a petty call. Should have received a warning first as Kirby pointed out in the presser. In addition he was just a boy and obviously had no idea and just got lost in the moment which we all would have. Feel sorry for the kid. He doesn't deserve any hate or ridicule.

Middle aged head coach has to pay a staff member to hold onto his belt loop to keep him off the field. But now we’re supposed to hate this kid for going two inches into the side judges sacred safe space?

ESPN is such trash for revisiting that event at the end of the game basically putting a bullseye on the young man.

Our post game radio guys said that the call was bush league and I tend to agree completely. Kid was barely on the line, ref was out of position and sprinting to catch up to the play. Guys on the sidelines bump into refs from time to time and it rarely results in a flag. Typically they give a warning without any yardage marked off. Was one of a few bad calls in the game — the worst was the clear roughing of the punter that was missed. If that’s not roughing the punter idk what is.

Anyways I’m not going to be to angry at this kid — he was the least of the problems last night.

Yes this was even MORE bush league and low brow. They literally had a special slot on this event later in the game when there were 20 other plays of more consequence that had gone down. ESPN is such a bad network — I pretty much have to just mute the games now. It’s run by typical mainstream media freaks who honestly do not seem to know much about football.

Pussy red, you can't tell me his counterpart on the ND sideline didn't get bumped in the white either. It happens alot.

Weren't a lot of walk ons going to have leave anyway with the new rules?

I also heard he is the brother of the former walk on Gleaton Jones that passed away recently in a car wreck.

Not sure how the rosters will stack up with the new rules. Imagine some will be asked to transfer.

Man, you can't make this stuff up. What are the odds. Looks to me like the crowd on the sidelines swelled with the excitement and he got nudged out there.

Ref is just a life sized vagina.
