LSU is 29-11 in 3 years with Kelly, 17-7 in SEC play (17-8 if you count the SEC title game vs UGA in 2022). He did inherit a mess when O left.
I think Kelly is a good coach. Who exactly to non LSU fans think LSU can just snap their fingers and get?
Next year with Revenue sharing coming in, we are talking about 20 to 22 Million going to players that the Schools have to pay out. You get rid of a coach next year, whoever you are and they have a 5 to 7 year contract left, you are looking at an estimated 70 to 80 Million dollars to pay out. That is not counting then getting a new staff in place and NIL budget you are already spending.
