A&M being unable to win big remains the 8th wonder of the world….

It just doesn’t make sense. And before you start, yes I am fully aware that Ole Miss hasn’t won a Championship and won’t win a Championship and blah, blah, blah….truth is, it’s a damn miracle Ole Miss does as well as they do. But Texas A&M, with unlimited support and capital….what’s wrong out there? Why can’t they get it done?

A constant inferiority complex. If they just focused on themselves rather than comparing themselves to Texas they might be more successful.

Don’t see yourself short. There are actually people currently alive that remember seeing Mississippi win a championship.

They focus and nurture how they are perceived rather than how they perform.

Ok that’s out of the way, now tell us why A&M can’t capitalize on their advantages?

Just two Top 5 finishes and one season of 10 wins or more this century. This despite being one of the Top 3 richest programs in college football.

I am shocked that they lost to a QB that couldn't move and that threw 3 or 4 INTs.

A&M has a lot of in state competition for talent, the bigger head scratcher is Mizzou, Mizzou is the only P5 university in the state.

Not really. Missouri high school football sucks. If your state doesn’t touch the Gulf or have a border within a 150 miles then you aren’t consistently producing high quality football talent.

A lot of the same reasons Texas has been anything but world beaters considering our advantages.
A witch’s brew of money, politics and ego.
BMDs in the state of Texas have been, and will always be, a major issue. Quite a few consider themselves as owners more than boosters.
Texas is currently in an era of everyone rowing in basically the same direction. That’s 100% a credit to our current AD.
For A&M to achieve success, they are going to have to find a way to heard their cats as well.

At least you are the flag ship school
Texas 8&4 is like the #4 or #5 school in Texas

Possible, just maybe as I've been telling you, anm does NOT have unlimited capital.
They do have queer boy cheerleaders. Don't have unlimited capital.
Do have play army nerds Don't have unlimited capital.
Do have marching band that only knows six tunes. Don't have unlimited capital.
Do have a make believe 12th man. Don't have unlimited capital.
Poor aggies

They seem to be unfairly singled out.
There are now 16 teams in the SEC, and yet, through it all, since its first expansion in 1992, there have been only six teams STILL that have won an SEC title.
And those same six teams are still the only six teams in the SEC that have won a national title since Ole Miss did it in 1960 (as a co-champion).
The fact is it’s hard.
