Committee could not have done a worse job. Completely embarassed. Fire them all.

They are already embarassed on SMU, Indiana, now Clemson. Will get further embarassed with Boise St and Arizona St. Fire them all. They literally could not have done a worse job.

0 reason Bama, Ole Miss, South Carolina should not be in over these scrubs.

Clemson won the ACC. That’s not on the committee

Yes it is their fault. They created the rule that conferences winners in P4 get an auto-bid. Another atrocious rule by htem. It should have never been anything but Top 12 get in.

Another blowout.

They have got to ignore conference champions and seed the 12 best teams

Why not just make the CFP only Sec teams so we can please our homers? Don’t understand why ppl are complaining when it isn’t going to change what’s already been set.

I’m willing to let that one slide. Generally speaking, the champions of the SEC, ACC and Big 10 are usually the best teams in the country.

SMU and Indiana are inexcusable though

Committee didn’t do that, the conference commissioners did

Sankey got bent over this year, let’s see how he responds

Committee makes the rules. They did it. They had the last say on what the rules were. If conferences cry over not getting auto-bids, too bad. Be better.

Though I agree with you on the picks they made, but people have pissed and moaned for years about the Boise states of the football world being left out of championship consideration. This first playoff is a chance to put up or shut up for those programs.

So far they aren’t making a case for themselves but proving why they have been passed over. I’m glad they did it this way in the first year then they can make it right in the future……or not.

I’m going to partially disagree for now on Arizona State. They did play a decent schedule.

Trying to show the committee didn’t have an SEC bias is what gave us this. I guess winning 13 of the last 20 years wasn’t a big enough clue who the dominant conference is.

I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if 3 of the final four are all 3 SEC teams that got in.

Although I do still hope Overrated State beats the stinking Vols so badly they disband their program in shame.

Well everyone is proposing the majority of the SEC should be in, so be mad. Call it like it is or suck it up.

The problem is 12 teams. Let's be honest.

There is a big drop off between. First four and last four. Show me an 8-12 team that could beaten 1-4 the last ten years

If we are doing power 4 these days then it should be the 4 champions. Pretty simple to fix. I also don’t mind a power 4 with 16 teams and the 4 highest of each conf is in a bracket fighting their way to the championship.

Do not forget, Sankey signed off on this format. Last I checked, he still has a job. He should resign in shame.

There simply aren’t 12 teams who could win it all.. maybe 6-8

Pretty much. It should never have been above 8, and 6 is really the ideal spot if they wanted expansion. 12 will always entail weak, undeserving teams getting in.

It's not the committee's fault that Clemson is in. Those were the rules that the fricktards in charge put into place.

Penn State and ND would have beaten Bama as bad as they did Indiana and SMU.
