247 really likes this guy

They have him the #1 portal QB available right now. Did he even play?

Kromenhoek did play a bit, and he wasn't good.

247 tends to lean in on HS rankings a lot when they do their Portal rankings. Their #1 QB in the Portal last year was Julian Sayin, who was ranked above Cam Ward, Dillon Gabriel, and Will Howard. Dante Moore was ranked above those three proven guys as well.

What’s the deal with Sayin? Going to ride the pine for the future?

He'll at worst be the backup next season at Ohio State as a RS Fr

Weigman has experienced and has been successful at times against REAL SEC defenses

THAT is what I care about!

He has had 3 seasons of opportunities on A&M teams that were not devoid of talent, and he could not cement himself as "the guy". The best thing you can say about him is that he has played a few good games. Payton Thorne has played a few good games too LOL, and everyone is seemingly convinced that he is the worst QB ever. Weigman has also played several TERRIBLE games.

He’s had 2 TD passes the past 2 seasons against the SEC.

And he is a pocket passer and not a runner. Need some wheels in this offense.

So you would rather have the Stanford QB over Weigman?

No pocket passer should be in the top 10 for Auburn
