OREGON Bracket

Oregon -- (3-0....wins vs. Ohio State, Penn State)
Arizona State -- (0-0)
Texas -- (0-2....both losses to Georgia)
Ohio State -- (2-1.....wins vs. Indiana, Penn State; loss to Oregon)
Tennessee -- (0-1.....loss to Georgia)
Clemson -- (1-1.....win vs. SMU; loss to Georgia)

GEORGIA Bracket

Georgia -- (4-0.....wins over Texas twice, Clemson, Tennessee)
Indiana -- (0-1.....loss to Ohio State)
Notre Dame -- (0-0)
Penn State -- (0-2.....losses to Ohio State, Oregon)
SMU -- (0-1.....loss to Clemson)
Boise State -- (0-1......loss to Oregon)

-- Take note of Boise State.....their only loss was to Oregon, but only by 3 points, 37-34. Interesting.

I just want to take this as another opportunity to point out that Notre Dame lost to NIU.

Boise only played one P4 team, Oregon, which is why it is such BS that they're the 3 seed!

The mistake the CFPC is making, in my opinion, is that all 12 teams ought to be seeded 1-12, just as the NCAA Basketball tournament does with all the teams regardless of conference affiliation.

Not all conferences are created equal; therefore, SEED all 12 teams accordingly regardless of conference and go from there.

So Georgia has beaten 3 teams from the other bracket and now to get to the Championship they will have to beat 2 more teams from the other bracket?

So if UGA ends up national champs they will have had to beat almost 50% of the total field, or more depending on the final matchup

Talk about a tough schedule

I'm not confident that UGA is going to win it all. I wasn't confident in that when Beck was healthy, but especially now with the backup in there (though I was impressed with his poise overall in the SECCG), however if they do win it all, I have to think that it will be one of the most impressive seasons in CFB history.

Tough on top of having a team that has seen injuries on top of injuries on top of injuries.

Think about it......vs. Texas in the SECCG, we had our starting QB taken out at the end of the 1st half, played with our backup QB (and almost lost him), had only 1 of our top 3 RBs, both WRs out......it's really incredible to thihk how Kirby has kept this team together and fighting for each other.

shouldn't that make Oregon 3-0?

The pope said not to worry about that loss or their #57 SOS.

I agree, even so far it's impressive and I'm not a Georgia fan

I agree. But this was the way things were set up when people were screaming for a 12 team playoff. People got what they wanted and now they are unhappy still.

A 4 team playoff was the sweet spot. If they had to, they could have gone to 6, but 4 was best.

Georgia definitely had a tough road to get there but have an incredibly easy path now. There other 4 best teams are on the other side and if get to the final it's a home game

A fricked up JetDawg post right out of the gate...

Shocking...

The third CFP team you're missing is Boise State.
