For 16 years you got to experience perhaps the greatest run in the history of cfb, if not college sports.
Then, you have a season where you soil your pants not once but twice against inferior teams and lobby to ruin the dream season of a Cinderella in smu.
You are the Augustus gloop of cfb. It’s not enough to experience 16 years of nothing but glory and good news for you people.

The modern age Bama fans (grew up with Saban there) for ya. They are just entitled to be in it no matter what rules need to be bent or changed. Nothing about this year was special or not middle of the sec and they still expect to be in the playoff just because the number of people that would watch to see them lose.

It’s what happens when you have a long run of success. You get spoiled and feel entitled and privileged and another successful season is a given. It’s just human nature. So it’s a tough to pill to swallow once the success ends. Nothing lasts forever.

I'm not sure some Alabama fans know any other way to act.
4 of their 6 championships with Saban came in seasons where they received a mulligan after a regular season loss.

They should be thanking God they're on the outside looking in, now they can atleast talk about what might have been and not have to deliver. There is a simple algorithm to beating alabama and more teams than not would have figured it out in the playoffs.

True that. All things must come to an end however. Anyways should be a great playoff to watch along with some not so terrible bowl games

Some of you guys may be in the same bubble spot in the future and we now have precedence that a shiity ACC schedule is preferable to a tough SEC schedule. I will enjoy the irony when it happens.
