Going.

Will internet tough guy 3down10 please meet me there, or can he not afford his one-way ticket to embarrassment?

Unfortunately can't make this one, but if we win and head to the Sugar Bowl for CFP I will already be in town and attending as I did last year.

Unfortunately it looks like we will be going. Seriously thought all that Texas oil money would have driven up ticket prices and I'd have made some coin selling my tickets but I am not giving them away for what they are going for at the moment....will use them myself.

I don't think its Texas though. I think its the specter of Texas fans planning on going to a game later in the playoffs and saving some cash. I wouldn't be surprised if cheap seats weren't available around noon Saturday for less than $100.....

I considered it but decided to spend my $$$ on the playoff game(s).

Avoiding that nightmare you call traffic in Atlanta is just a bonus.

Just got back from a long work trip so I am not planning on it but I could change my mind tomorrow. It’s not a far drive and tickets are pretty cheap

Traffic won't be bad at noon on a Saturday. Most people will use public transportation. Parking is crazy expensive and tailgating sucks but its a pretty easy in and out for the game.

Smart. I bought yesterday but now wish I would have waited as I see prices dropping.

Good point. The one time I had to drive through was Friday around 4:30pm. My timing was impeccable.

I live in the area, so I could afford to wait. If I was traveling into town, I probably would have bought some already.

I wonder if conference championships have lost some of their shine, particularly with situations like UT & UGA. Winner really doesn't gain that much and loser doesn't lose that much, so fans save their money for later games.
