I read he had two heart attacks after the Missouri game.
"Jeff Krupsaw @kruprock Bob suffered a medical emergency Saturday night on his way back to press box after postgame interviews in. Columbia, Mo He is in ICU at University of Missouri medical center. Breathing on a ventilator. The prognosis is not encouraging. Prayers are needed."

On a more serious note, that sucks. Bob Holt has always come across as a great individual and nice guy.
Bob is a fixture at ADG and I’ve grown up reading his stuff. I think he even did some outdoor/hunting type articles over the years. He may ask some goofy questions from time to time but he’s a good writer.

Man, that is sad to hear. Praying for Bob. You wouldn't know it from his demeanor but the guy has always been sharp as a tack. Just seems like a good guy too

I believe Bob began as a staff writer in 1981. Praying he pulls through.

Yeah…heard him say this on radio. Just graduated from Mizzou and had job options covering a JUCO or Hogs

I figure Van Horn is probably torn up about it as well. Holt was about the only guy who consistently covered baseball.
