Alabama is clearly that bubble team for the 12 spot.

Whether you like it or not. Alabama needs SMU to beat Clemson, then they're more than likely in. Unless the committee really loves Miami. That's the only obstacles.

Don’t like it all you want, look at the old BCS ranking system, computer rankings. Everything that takes emotion out of it, and just looks at the data says Bama has the best argument.

The best adjustment they did to the BCS was take out margin of victory factor and put more emphasis on opponents beaten.
