Losing on the road to a 8-3 team close from the same conference. They wont drop below us. We needed them to win to knock out SMU to give us a chance.

Edit: SC will probably jump us with a win over Clemson in clemson as well.

List their best wins.

ETA: Even McElroy is starting to come around.

They have no ranked wins and multiple close wins, including the VT Hail Mary

Weren’t you cheering for Miami?

Just gotta accept that we controlled our own destiny and fumbled it last week with a loss.

SC is not jumping us. We have better wins and head to head

Also probably the best team they've played all season. Their best win is a currently 5-6 Florida.

Watching the LSU-Oklahoma game, if we don’t make it we have no one to blame but ourselves. There’s no excuse for last week. Oklahoma is beyond terrible

I don't disagree at all. If we don't make it I won't be upset. We don't really deserve it. Everyone else has just shite the bed too and arguably doesn't deserve it either.

I think what we need is SMU to beat Clemson in the ACC championship.

I think locks for the playofffs:

Oregon
Texas
UGA
Penn St
Ohio State
Indiana
Notre Dame
SMU
Big XII Champ
Group of 5 (Probably Boise St)

That only leaves 2 spots… Bama, Miami, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Az St (if they don’t win the Big XII), A&M with a win tonight and in the SEC championship.

I think you have a point sir/ma'am and it probably will be considered in rational conversation with committee.

But as a Bama fan, I hope you dead wrong.

You are correct. We're not getting in as a three-loss team over someone with two losses. And their losses are much better than ours, in which we lost to two teams that are 6-5!

They put us in last year over an undefeated team with not enough quality wins and a hurt star quarterback. No reason they wouldn't put us in over Miami with a weak schedule and only one more win...just sayin

Brent venables is a great defensive coordinator when he steals your obvious play calls. Not so much otherwise

Yeah, and it was met with a lot of controversy. I would love to be wrong, but I do think some people are willing to pass Bama because there has been this perception that Bama in the past has been “favored” (especially under Saban). Now that Saban is gone and we have DeBoer and an incredibly unpredictable, bipolar team, I can see why a lot would be like “ehh, let’s leave em out.”

Shut the frick up.

Miami hasn't beaten a ranked team, lost their two competitive games and have no marquee victories.

We have played 4 currently top 21 teams and are 3-1. We have a big marquee win over UGA.

I literally hate you trolls who come here only to shite talk Bama

Such a stupid post.

Tell me Miami's best win? They haven't beaten a ranked team.

We have beaten 3 ranked teams and have a marquee win over UGA.

Miami in our schedule would have 4 or more losses
