I completely lost faith in college football last night. It might as well be WWE bc it’s obviously scripted. If Georgia would have just gotten one call in their favor it would have been bad. But it’s MULTIPLE clear calls. Phantom PI, multiple non holding, and my favorite - clear targeting that produced a fumble.
I’m done with college football. If we are going to script it, it’s not worth watching. At least WWE doesn’t mind telling you it’s scripted.

Told those watching with me… watch this flag coming when the 4th down PI was called… like clockwork, and boom… there it was.
However, the fumble I think was a good hit, he was a runner, if he doesn’t fumble they probably run out the clock.

GTech had plenty of chances to put that game away and failed to do so every time.

It's not scripted. If it had been, Georgia Tech would not have been gifted that PI penalty in overtime that put the ball on the 1-yard line.

Lot of money to be lost for the SEC with only Texas in the 12.

OT? You mean the place the game should have never gone to?

I did not see the non-targeting targeting play, however I doubt there was anything sinister going on. Refs are just incompetent.

I’m going to have to disagree. There is incompetence and then there is willful disregard. What we saw last night was willful disregard of rules and trying to get multiple SEC teams in the 12.

I probably won’t watch any football today. Last night was possibly my last. Can’t trust it anymore

Basically impossible for it to be scripted. Think about it.

Maybe scripted is the wrong word. But it was definitely influenced by the refs to help the Bums that Bark win. I guess scripted would have to suggest GT was in on it which obviously they weren’t. Everyone else there was.

That's impossible think about the logistics and keeping people quiet about it.

Use some thinking skills

I dont find it difficult to believe that refs are told to try to make sure someone wins. Kirby knew, the refs knew and I'd assume someone in the SEC office knew. Thats not far fetched.

It is very far fetched. There would have been someone talking by now and a book written. Not that many people can keep a secret.

Then why did the refs do their best to screw over Alabama last Saturday after Ole Miss had already lost, if the SEC was trying to get as many teams as possible in?

Ok so here's the question to those who disagree with me - to not agree means you believe that a group of SEC ref's are truly that incompetent and cant see. Thats what yall believe?

Yes, the refs have sucked for years. There's no accountability for the terrible calls they make, until there are we will continue to see terrible calls.

I just don't get how we always get screwed yet people think we are the ones getting over

We literally have to beat teams and the refs every week.

Every one in a while the refs won't be strong against us

The SEC needs full time officials that are reviewed regularly.

Only way to fix it

It's not scripted, but I think people who write off Tim Donaghy as some lone wolf type bad actor have their heads in the sand. There's way too much money at stake and the networks have gotten so involved with gambling apps at this point that you'd have to be a fool to think there aren't multiple officials in CFB, men's CBB, and all the major pro leagues who are on the take.

Joe Tessitore and Palmer were blatantly pulling for UGA. ESPN loves UGA.
