Georgia losing out good or bad for our chances?

I know, I know, we suck. But just for the theoretical perspective, obviously a team ahead of us going down is good, but they are also our noteworthy win. And they have to lose again next week for it not to be moot anyway. So what do y'all think?

It’s our best quality win. As much as I’d love to see Ga Tech beat them we need UGA to win out.

Not a good look if they lose, will likely secure 2 ACC teams in which we really needed them to be a 1 bid league.

That said, if they lose, we have to root for Texas to win out. If Texas loses to A&M, then A&M or UGA are in with 3 losses and Texas is still in with 2 losses. We wouldn’t jump up at all in that case and our win is just diminished.

It hurts if no more upsets happen, but Bama shouldn’t drop since Ole Miss’s best win is also Georgia.

Ga just playing around. They will make it entertaining and blow tech out 2nd half.

This is typical sleepy 1st half dawgs

Yeah a&m winning tomorrow would be tough to overcome. Feel like Tennessee or Clemson absolutely have to lose as well.

Absolutely not.

Georgia is ranked ahead of us just like Clemson. The two of them lose and we're in.

Think you’re missing which team has the better QB. Unless King gets hurt, this won’t be a blowout

Saint, UGA has to lose twice. This one doesn’t change anything if they win next week

I hasn't even thought of the acc possibly being a 2 team league. Yeah they could counter the benefit of UGA falling out

I have to be honest: I don’t care if it helps or hurts us, I would love to see GA lose at home. Especially against GA Tech. If we’re supposed to get in, other things will happen. I enjoy watching this tonight though.

Cool.

Still need them to lose.

A&M beats Texas tomorrow then Georgia doesn't even play next week.

Texas wins the rematch in the title game and we're in.

You may be right but I don’t trust the committee to drop UGA six spots.

Tech has experience taking down top 5 teams so idk about that one.

You sure? UGA has already punched their ticket

Edit: when Bama and Ole Miss lost last week, UGA clinched championship birth. They own tiebreakers against both UTs

UGA is in. A&M beats Texas tomorrow and then one of A&M and UGA are in plus Texas guaranteed. That will probably kill our chances unless chaos happens.

Hell, maybe.

I can't find the SECCG Predictor Thread.

Even so, I want them to lose tonight.

Next week is next week.

I just don’t think it’s a good look for the conference. At all. I think the SEC is getting three this year. If Georgia loses tonight, they have to lose next week as well for Bama to make it.
