Preferably something in the FAR north east.

I'd lose Missouri if the SEC could take in Georgia Tech.

They are kind of a perfect fit for the Big 12 and it would probably benefit the school and both conferences

the day the SEC ceases to have Mississippi State as a member school is the day the SEC is no longer the SEC -
same for the other 9 founding members still playing - Sewanee and Tulane retired - Georgia Tech ran from Bama - but Mississippi State has stuck it out and they've rep'd the SEC well in post-season bowls -
State is 15-11 in their bowl history and 11-5 since 1999 with wins over Clemson Michigan Louisville and a then Big 12 Texas A&M among others -

frick you
We were a respectable program with one of the nations longest bowl streaks until our coach unexpectedly died. We will rebuild and get back to that, just gonna take time. Unfortunate series of events led to this

This team was still trying in November. Jackie's last team quit in October.
Early October.

Based on two threads that you recently started, I bet you must be drinking…. heavily.

Well. Everything you said was correct except this.
His Drs told him in July that he was in liver failure and congestive heart failure. And he should announce his retirement, stop drinking, and go immediately to a hospital.
He told them to get fricked.
By the week before the Egg Bowl he was yellow with jaundice, he was coughing, and could barely walk the sidelines.
He told the Admins at State that he would go to the hospital the day after the Egg Bowl.
But he wouldn't answer his phone and missed all of his Drs appointments. He wandered around his house in Starkville until he dropped dead.
That's not unexpected. For whatever it's worth.
