Watching this presser with the lens of history and compared to Beamer's it's 100% apparent why our guys had "No joy" back in those days. What a stiff.

He just looks like a 100%, full throttle dipshit.

$40+ million for being an utter failure at 2 separate jobs.

I feel bad because when he came in I had high hopes. I thought he had a chip on his shoulder. I loved his intensity. He's a great defensive coach. He didn't change one bit from when he coached at UF. McElwain is the better HC compared to him in that regard.
I won't put too much shade on him, but he recruited players on a "you" basis instead of a "we" basis. And it showed. This dude had, still has, no clue what building a coherent team is about.
If UGA fans want to argue that he has changed, and he now knows how to build a coherent unit. I'm all ears. I would love to debate that question.

Watching his eyes… Damn….
I don’t doubt that Thanksgiving has always been just a meal for him.
Who wants to spend a whole day with a psycho?

Kirby said the same thing in this week's press conference. Thanksgiving is just a meal.
Is Kirby a shitty coach?

Kirby is a great coach. But he sounds like a shitty father, husband and family member.
There is no reason to belittle Thanksgiving.

1: Christmas, the day our Lord the Savior was born.
2: Easter, the day our Lord was resurrected.
3: Independence Day, the 4th of July when the world order was broken wide open.
Thanksgiving is way down on the list.

No. It's history. The Lee Resolution proposing independence for the 13 colonies was adopted by the 2nd Continental congress on July 2, 1776. That was official act that separated us from England. The declaration of independence was ratified and signed on July 4th, 1776. But technically, like l said, that's just the document that announced it to the world, not the date of the official separation. On July 19th they started committing the declaration to parchment. It wasn't until August 2, 2776 that the members of the Continental congress started to sign the Declaration.
So depending on your definition of "independence from England" there are many viable arguments as to why it's not July 4th and a handful of other days.
And my 13 y/o knows this stuff. Did they not teach us History at UGA?
Ps. Happy Thanksgiving DAY!
