East leads 13-11

Arkansas at Missouri 2:30 pm SEC Network

One of the reasons this college football season was so crazy is there was 25 games played between the East and West and that doesn't take into account all the games with Oklahoma and Texas. There is normally only 14 games between the two divisions. So we are not going to go as long without playing teams anymore. Definitely a positive to be considered with all the complaining about the negatives. We got some good matchups this season.

Also you mathemagicians check my work please, I did this by hand. TIA

The home team won 2/3 of the times.

If the divisions still existed, they would have still claimed the west was better even if you posted these facts.

Historically speaking the West got the better of the East more times than not, but the main difference was perennial powerhouse Bama and bottom dweller Vandy, which is why the outcome of that game was so shocking. Other than that the divisions were pretty even. And that is what they were going for in the early 90's when they drew it up.

Most years you got protection in the East. We benefitted some overall the Mac and Mullen years. Georgia finally got a decent SEC schedule this year.

Back in 2013, Auburn was really good and LSU was really good and Ole Miss was dangerous and Johnny Manziel was playing, so therefore the SEC West will always be better than the SEC East until the end of time.

If you go by the history of East vs West from 1992 through 2023.

# of seasons with >.500 winning % over the other:

West/East/Tie - 17/6/9

Overall West/East/Tie - 304-235-3 (West win % was 0.564)

Conference Championship Game - West led 19-13

Tell me that you're a Millennial without telling me that you're a Millennial.

There was this time in the SEC, in an Eastern land far far away .... it was called "The 90s"

But you SEC Westie Dickriders Club members have always cracked me up. Always claiming your beltbuckles are bigger.

Where's my damn club logo I did for y'all some years back? I gotta find that thing.

Tell me that you have a hard time recognizing basic sarcasm without telling me that you have a hard time recognizing basic saracasm.

You may be on the slow side.

How Alabama managed to go through the SEC gauntlet undefeated back in 2016 is incredible. So many SEC West powerhouses!

You actually make a good point. How pretentious of me.

Retrospectively speaking, I may have allowed the inherent sarcasm to fly right over my head. Or was it sent with more of a facetious intent? Either way, I assumed incorrectly.

My bad.

This entire EAST vs WEST thing is so stupid.
The difference between the east vs west is that west had Bama and the east has Vanderbilt.
