The first time I ever saw the A&M campus (it was before they allowed females, except vet students in), was on a bleak Thanksgiving Day.

I thought it looked like a prison.

My first game at Kyle field was in 1995. I was a junior at Texas and went with my parents and girlfriend who would one day become my ex-wife.

Great game. The Aggies have a great HFA, or at least they did back then.. it literally felt like the stands were moving when they sang Saw Varsity's Horn's Off.. it was a pretty cool site to see, if I'm being honest.

I grew up in Northwest Houston, so I had a lot of really good friends in high school that went to A&M.. and some of them are still great friends to this day. The water cooler talk is always fun going back and forth..

Count me in the group that is really excited this game is coming back..

Never cared to much for the game. I want Texas to win so we can keep advancing and so I don’t have to hear all this Aggy talk from a program that is never relevant. The RRR game is much better to the point that to me A&M is just slightly better than most bottom feeder games. I have more hate for Georgia than I do TAMU.

So, I originally started university at an university in Louisiana as a double major in computer science and math. My academic advisor for math was an A&M grad, our math department head was A&M grad, and my discrete math professor was an A&M grad.

When I decided to transfer to Texas in 2015, my professor and department started fricking with me on campus when I wore a Texas shirt. It was fun, but that is the only story I got. My discrete math professor wrote one of my letters of recommendation to go to Texas and got admitted in 2016.

I'm a first generation Texas grad so I don't have anything growing up either. I'm excited for another real rivalry because I always felt something was missing around football besides the Oklahoma game. It was always a thing in other sports, especially baseball. Glad it is back.

Hook 'em!

Was at DKR the last time we lost to the Aggies (thanks to Gilbert). It made 2011 a lot sweeter. Can’t wait for this one.
