He should be if UF admins had a brain.
Ole Miss has 30 blue chip players even with Kiffin's portal ninjitsu. That's well below the required blue chip ratio to win a title. Kiffin can't coast to talent to win games, he has to coach his A game in every game to have a shot to win.
Florida has 52 blue chip players on their roster. Even with Napier not coaching well they can win some games simply due to talent.
Despite the head to head result, the reality is Kiffin is going to have a 30 blue chip roster at 9-3 this year while Napier has a 52 blue chip roster at 7-5. Kiffin is a better coach and would be a big upgrade over Napier.

I think this year's Florida team has something special cooking late season in their locker room and a lot of it is because of that QB. They might be actually be really good next year. Kiffin is stuck for now.

Yeah he couldn’t coast to talent against juggernaut Kentucky and their army of 5 stars where his genius playcalling had Ole Miss converting 10% on 3rd down.
Kiffin has never won big anywhere he’s been. He’s a shite stirrer and will get big wins here and there and then talk out of his arse before losing inevitably a couple games a year he shouldn’t. Rinse and repeat.

I’d still take him over Billy but Billy has earned enough leeway the past two games to see what he can do with Lagway and likely get fired next year instead of this one.
Maybe after potentially losing at Vaught Hemingway next year

Kiffin has 2 10+ win seasons and could have another this year with wins in the egg bowl and bowl game
He’s a good coach, better than Billy by far
The only thing Billy has is now is DJ Lagway who is bringing some excitement into the fan base even though he’s a bit overrated at this point. Got potential but isn’t what people are making him out to be, not yet at least.
Austin Armstrong might also be a good DC. If Napier can keep him and Lagway he might find success. But as soon as Lagway goes pro or transfers and Armstrong gets a G5 head coach g job Billy will probably go back to winning 4-5 games a season

Kiffin is a complete idiot who has an amazing talent for making terrible decisions at the worst possible time. Sunbelt Billy has a chance to become a good SEC coach.
