1st half last night probably the best half of BasketVOLS I've witnessed in my 3+ decades on this globe.

Start the game on a 42-14 run against Baylor. Started with 5 threes in a row for Lanier by the 1st TV timeout and ended with a Lanier 3 at the buzzer. Pure and utter dismemberment of a good ranked team that will be dancing in March. And this all despite Zeigler having a horrid night shooting totaling just 5 points.

Well, Tennessee would’ve been in the championship game if it wasn’t for the referees protecting the Purdue big man. Since he went to the NBA, he fouls out in five minutes. Just a minute Texas fan you still wish they would have kept Rick.

Serraustitute stupidity aside, I've been very impressed with Barnes. When they hired him I thought he was just taking a retirement coast gig, but he has turned Tennessee into a very solid team in his time there.
