The B1G played the following P5 teams out of conference

SEC (1-3)
- Texas (L)
- Alabama (L)
- LSU (W, L)

ACC (2-3)
- North Carolina (L)
- Duke (L)
- Virginia (W)
- Virginia Tech (W)
- Boston College (L)

B12 (3-0)
- West Virginia (W)
- Kansas (W)
- Colorado (W)

P12 (1-2)
- Washington St (L)
- Oregon St (W, L)

- Notre Dame (L) (0-1)

They have 1 OOC game left - USC/Notre Dame. They, as a league, are 7-9 against P5 teams with their best win being Colorado or LSU.

The Playoff Contenders played the following OOC games

- Akron (OSU)
- Western Michigan (OSU)
- Marshall (OSU)
- West Virginia (PSU)
- Bowling Green (PSU)
- Kent State (PSU)
- FIU (Indiana)
- Western Illinois (Indiana)
- Charlotte (Indiana)

1 P5 opponent between the 3 of them - a 5-6 West Virginia team.

And they are about to be rewarded for it.

If it goes down the way the first rankings have been done this year every single SEC team should cancel every remotely difficult looking p5 game for next year.

I assumed there were some B1G non-con games I had just forgotten about.

This is ridiculous. Not to mention the losses to the SEC have been blowouts. LSU let SC off the fricking hook and that is the only win vs. an SEC school.

Indiana is a great story, but they are about to be out of the playoff discussion. Oregon's OOC is solid, and kudos to them for keeping the Civil War as an OOC game and playing a very tough G5 school.

I don't see how the B1G gets anything more than 3 bids.
