Deep down, I’m ready for all of this to fall apart.

I’d love to head down to our field and watch a bunch of Bama students go up against a bunch of Auburn or LSU students. Just a bunch of guys that care and are FANS of their school. NIL has made me tired after less than half a decade. I’m to the point where I’d enjoy a day watching club football at the rec fields over these entitled millionaires. Then go talk shite over wings at Baumhowers. Whatever.
I’ll keep watching, and hope Bama pulls something out of this 12 team system. But CFB is dying a painful death, and it’s going to get uglier.

Yeah, losing to Vandy does suck arse. I don’t disagree.

Dude, I know Ole Miss is seeing a glimmer of success right now, but there is no way they’re going to be able to keep up with NIL long term. Talk shite about Bama, but we will 100% be able to outpace you in spending over the long haul. My complaints about NIL should resonate with y’all. CFB being a true bidding war sucks for everyone.

Kentucky is actually a worse loss than Vandy this season.

Rebs forget historically they’re a bottom dweller, unless they cheat or spend lots of money. I can understand the excitement of being good, congrats to them, but with NIL, I really don’t give a shite who wins, even my team. If there was a cap, OM wouldn’t be a top team. Also, it seems like you can lose to a Kentucky then beat a Georgia so anything can happen good or bad.

Alabama has lost to Vandy twice as many times as they have to Ole Miss. Alabama leads the Ole Miss series 55-10-2 (.824). Alabama leads the Vandy series 60-20-4 (.738).
Ole Miss is a worse loss than Vanderbilt.

Nil is wicked and evil and unsustainable

Oh poor baby Alabama isn’t as good anymore because other teams can pay players and not horde 5*’s for the price of a couple dodge chargers

Vandy is better than Kentucky this year…lol. Shows your College Football IQ. But please continue acting as if Ole Miss has really ever been relevant

Bama can’t stockpile 5* players anymore. Fans continue to take it hard.

LSU is on par with Vandy

Did you think that up while strolling down the "Walk of Third-Rate Programs"?

Hang onto this sentiment while you’re watching us in the playoffs.

This post is perfect for any Bama or GA fan. Of course those teams hate NIL! You had your own private, under the table NIL program that was insanely successful.
But now that the playing field is becoming level. Your team don't seem to look nearly as good? Certainly very beatable any given Saturday.
No suprise a LOT of Bama fans hate the world of NIL. While most other schools, the great majority, LOVE IT!
Funny how that works. Kinda like all the wealth in American was released from the top 0.5%.

Your post is funny because those schools you mention will lobby to put a cap and teams like A&M and OM who dump lots of money will then be the ones made fun of.

College football is better and more competitive than it ever has been.

I hope they do cap this damn thing! It is coming 100%.
Lot of folks seem to think A&M is spending mad cash. Many other SEC schools have spent far, far more. Elko has been very judicial in the players he takes and the NIL money they spend. They probably spend more along the SEC average.
Ole Miss and Texas certainly spend more. Hell Florida, Georgia, Missouri and others may also spend more.
Aggie are not worried whatsoever about that. I cap is a very good thing. We welcome it so we can spend all the extra cash on updating our facilities. This will give A&M the big advantage along with other cash rich schools like Texas and OSU.
So you are actually totally wrong in your thinking. Non-cap keeps the rich schools from investing as much in facilities. Once the cap is in place, they have a lot more extra cash to produce the best facilities in the country.
Chew on that.
So completely disagree.
NIL is the reason this season has been one of the best college football seasons EVER!! Except for Bama and GA fans.

It's definitely distributed talent better than anything before it.
It also places a premium on talent identification and program fits. You can't afford to bet big on a player who doesn't contribute heavily.
