Here’s the truth. I don’t think the winder of the CFP is truly finding the best team in the country.

And what does that even mean? That you can get to the playoffs and win the right games?

So what if a Big12 team happens to win the right games and get to and win the CFp?

Does it mean that team would have survived in a tougher league and had the same outcome? No.

So what doesn’t it mean? The SEC and the Big19 need to make their own league.

This is professional wrestling. It's not meant to crown the best football team.

This argument happens every year in the basketball tournament, no matter how many teams are allowed in someone is going to be mad.

I look for football to expand shortly because of the automatic qualifying teams that don’t deserve to be there.

Jesus....do aggies ever do anything other than beat the SEC drum?

Texas has a huge problem right now. Our QB has regressed in a big way since his injury. Still, we will likely finish the regular season with only 1 conference loss. We would have lost 2 games in the Big 12.

Eh, I'm not too concerned about it.

Do I think the 12 or 10 or even 8 most deserving teams will make the playoff every year? not really. But the 8 most deserving teams will make it most of the time, and the top 6 will always get in the field.

That's good enough for me. I think whoever comes out of a bracket that includes those teams is a worthy champion.

Will the 9th best team be left out some years? Yeah. I'm cool with that. They had their chance to make sure they made the field during the regular season. They put themselves on the bubble. I'm not worked up about a bubble team not making this.

I say all this understanding that UGA is in fact a bubble team this season. I'm not going to cry if we get left out. We should have beaten Bama or Ole Miss if we wanted to make sure we wouldn't get left out.

That may be your truth, but that is not my truth.

And immediately cut all of our viewership in half when the Texas Tech and Clemson’s of the world refuse to watch our games anymore..

You seem to post a lot of topics.

In a tree by the brook, there's a songbird who sings.
Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven.
Ooh, it makes me winder.
Ooh, makes me winder.

It should work out a heck of a lot better than the bad old days of popularity contests following the Sugar, Rose, Cotton and Rose bowl games.

I don't give a BIG 12 or ACC team much of a chance to win a 12 team playoff where they have to win 3 games. I think an SEC or Big 10 team is highly likely to win it most years.

While I'm not really a fan of the SEC and Big 10 going it alone, I also don't think there are really that many fan bases of any significant size that would be lost if they did.

Clemson would probably end up in one of the conferences. And Texas Tech doesn't have that many viewers who wouldn't still watch A&M and Texas games.

Slow your roll. You’ve beaten one SEC team with a winning SEC record.

You have a lot of downvotes but CFB is corrupt.
It’s basically wrestling at this point, and thinking there will be a legit championship is moronic.

$$$$$$$ is all that matters.

The Big 12 and ACC will likely only get 1 team in anyway. You wan't them to get none in?

What would be the point of the regular season if half of the SEC was in playoff anyway?

Idk about you, but if my team was left out and made to sit at the little kids table, I’d never watch the other games again. I’m a stubborn ole arse tho..

I have a feeling these bitchy aggy threads will just mean more after they lose to Auburn.
