Who will it be.

Tennessee.
The SEC will send Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Ole Miss

Alabama is a better team now than when they played Tenn. Milroe finally embraced his athlete position of running.

Tennessee, they were never that good.

Ole Miss beat Georgia, big deal.
You are not that good.

Could be Ole Miss. If Tennessee is ahead of Ole Miss in the playoff rankings this week, then Ole Miss is in the danger zone.

Could be Texas. If Texas loses to A&M and finishes 10-2, they'll have had two games against ranked opponents this year and will have lost both (to A&M and UGA). That's not a strong resume and could put them behind all the other 2-loss SEC teams.
Won't be Bama. The only way they finish with 2 losses this year is if they win the SECCG and finish 11-2. That puts them in automatically. The tie-breakers mean they'll be in the SECCG at 10-2 automatically along with the A&M/Texas winner.
Same is true for A&M.
UGA is probably the only team that can finish the year 10-2 and not make the SECCG and feel pretty safe.

A 10-2 SEC team is equal to a 12-0 Acc team IF not better. So who should really miss out?

Assuming they win out, I think Bama, Georgia, and Texas/A&M winners are in and safe. Ole Miss has to be the 4th team taken; they are better than Tennessee. If the SEC DOES sneak a 5th team in, between VOLS and Texas, I assume it’ll be Texas. While Tennessee will have the better resume, Texas has the bigger brand.

Yeah it all comes down to the rankings this Tuesday between Ole Miss, UGA, and Tennessee as none of them are likely to do anything substantial to change that order the last 2 weeks.

Auburn could do the most Auburn thing ever the next two weeks and be the turd in the punch bowl after a miserable season.

Look at Ole Miss’ schedule and two losses and you’ll figure this out quickly

Well Tennessee has to play @Vandy and Ole Miss @ Florida—two teams that have beaten top 25 teams this year. Not a given that both finish 10-2 this year.

I think Auburn or Florida may take care of the issue of a 10-2 regular season SEC team not getting in the playoff. If there is one left out it should be TX if they were to lose to A&M.

I disagree.
Bama will most likely be in the SECCG against the winner of Texas/A&M. If that's A&M, the loser of the SECCG between Bama and A&M will likely miss the playoff.

No they won’t. One of the current
10-2 teams will lose prior to the SEC championship.

I think anyone of these teams can win it all if they get into the playoffs.

I think TX, A&M, Bama and Georgia control their playoff destiny if they win out in the regular season and an SECCG loss won't knock them out.
