Yellerbelly, would you like to remind the board of Spurrier’s comments regarding the Citrus Bowl?

Yep that is where 10-2 Tennessee will be.

You ignorance is awesome. If you lose this week, you won't have the resume.

I'm going to nominate South Carolina. Best we have faced thus far.

You may want to look at South Carolina's DL. They have at least two NFL players on it and I think a third. They've been the best I've seen all year.

Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Tenn are all outstanding. I wouldn't trade SC's for anyone else in the country though. Kennard and Stewart at DE's are difference makers.

We beat them quite handily.

I understand why an Ole miss fan wouldnt put us there though. We didnt really put up the stats in that game. Id argue there were a lot of uncalled holds, but also those guys did good in their own right.

but yeah I love our Dline.

South Carolina has really incredible speed at DE. But they aren't dominate on the inside. Those 2 ends though are difference makers.

Ole Miss has 3 DE who are really really good and 3 DT's who just clog the middle. Nolen and Princley U will probably 1st round picks. Ivey, Peagues, Harris and Perkins will all play in the NFL. It is dumb the depth and talent we have there.

They're quite good. Better than Tennessee IMO. Ole Miss is a tier above everyone else according to the numbers though. Reference item A.

see that is where I would disagree with you. Tonka and Sanders have 7 sacks between them on the interior. They also have more solo tackles combined than Stewart and Kennard.

For reference your top 2 DT's have

33 solo tackles and 5.5 sacks

Carolina's top 2 have

38 solo tackles and 7 sacks.

It’s more of a credit to Ole Miss

Dunno why the rebel wants to talk down about our interior instead of talking up his team. It’s there for the taking

right and again i understand why an ole miss fan would think our DL wasnt that great, we simply didnt show it vs them.

Their Dline is nasty as well. I just think our DT's are really under talked about. They are what allows our DE's to play so free 1 on 1

Ole Miss likely has 4 players on this DL who will go in the first 3 rounds of the 2025 draft and depth pieces that will also be drafted at some point over the next 2 years. It's an elite unit.
