frick that guy. I wish they would have tased him another 50 times. I feel bad for his 5 kids.

Dude was a complete idiot. No excuse for saying he was gonna kill a cop. That will never go well. But people can act stupid when it comes to their kids. It would be interesting to know what had happened and what was said beforehand. Obviously something happened. The guy acted like an arse and handled that horribly. But I think a lot of people would be upset if they felt they were in the right and were kicked out of a game. And instead of trying to deescalate the situation or find out what happened, the very first thing the cop said as he walked up was “you’ve been ejected and ya gotta leave”. The cop that said that was the same one that tased him 1 minute and 14 seconds after they arrived. One of the officers at least tried to talk to the guy and calm him down. The other told him he had to leave, tried to grab him, and then tase him. The two cops approached it in two completely different ways. I wonder what all this person, who apparently had the authority to decide to kick someone out of the game, said during the incident.



I am not defending how the guy handled that. He guaranteed himself a trip to jail. But I am not defending how the one cop that tased him did either. He came up being super aggressive, pulled his taser out 15 seconds into the confrontation, and appeared to tase him not because he was physically threatening him but because he called him the N word.

Regardless, all these videos make me want to do is avoid Jacksonville, FL

Well, it's right there on the video... so yeah, it's what he said. He 100% asked for it and definitely deserved what he got.
What is it he said right there at the end? The captioning says "unintelligible" but it was "throw something out the door" or something like that, wasn't it?

Police were quite professional, handled the situation well. Shame the taser didn’t work right.

I think it’s time for police in tbe US to abandon the taser and go back to sticks and batons.

As for the perpetrator… surely we can all agree he deserved what he got from the cops.

This is why one needs to see the whole picture....based on this, I'm 100% behind that cop.

The fan made a terroristic threat against the cop, refused to leave an area he was trespassing on; cops had every right to bring him into submission, imo.

It's always best to wait and hear the other side. Amazing that some don't get that.

It was pretty obvious to me the way this guy responded to the officer in the fan video that he was gonna be the bad guy in the end.

If this were any other football board, I would have been shocked that earlier when I said calling a black cop the "n" word wasn't smart got downvoted in the double digits. But sadly, that's where we're at.
