Under Armour Senior Bowl Announces 2008 Coaching Staffs (Also: LINK)
- Former University of Alabama head coach Mike Shula, who now coaches quarterbacks for the Jaguars, will also experience a reunion while in Mobile later this month. Shula’s return to the state of Alabama for the 60th game means he will have the opportunity to once again coach Alabama quarterback John Parker Wilson who was named to the South squad in December.
- The 2009 Under Armour Senior Bowl is scheduled for January 24th at 6 pm (CT) in Mobile’s Ladd-Peebles Stadium. The game will be televised by the NFL Network.

It's destiny. They were made for each other.

JPW in Senior bowl? For what?

A. Why is JPW in the Senior Bowl over so many other Senior QBs?
B. Have they already announced the roster? I know they've announced many players already.

Shula will have QB's from the south that include:
Graham Harrell-Texas Tech
Cullen Harper-Clemson
Rhett Bomar-Sam Houston State
John Parker Wilson-Alabama
Pat White-West Virginia
Unless White is included in the North, JPW may not get that much playing time.

Wouldn't make any sense for a side to have more than 4 QBs. I imagine White will play for the North.

I can't seem to find it on their website

I'm not sure if Ladd-Peebles stadium can contain that much SUCK at the same time.
Oh wait, in 2000 it held Dennis Franchione and ESPN's Mike Gottfried at the same time, so I guess it can handle Shula and JPW.

My bad. I looked at ESPNSucks.com and they had his stats, but I went back and noted, they only have stats for 2005.

Senior Bowl has always gone way overboard to make sure as many Alabama and Auburn guys are in it as possible.

They have to sell tickets in MOBILE. Its still by far the best and most repsected college all star game.
In the NFL its known as the NFL Coaches Convention.

Will the prospect of seeing JPW play ONE MORE TIME be enough of an attraction but for only those with a morbid curiosity of when his wheels will come off?
