They had to know they were going to get heat for this post, and they are probably contractually obligated to post it. Still, you never block replies. It's a really, really bad look.

On that platform? Yes, it is. Locking a thread is inviting a ratio and it just makes people that were fine with a one off comment a little extra irritated. I realize. I realize the program has a contract with Activision and are taking a lot of heat right now, but this was a bad idea.

Are the would be Twitter commentators going to revolt and storm the Bama social media department or something? Are they going to voice their displeasure in an extreme manner on the next bama post that allows comments?
I am not trying to be an a-hole, I'm just wondering what you think will come of something like this. It's possible that I am dumb and ignorant of some kind of repercussion they could face.

I would normally agree, but I've seen how our fans have acted like unhinged over-emotional pussies bc we're 5-2 & ranked #15.

If you are dumb and ignorant (which I doubt), I am even "dumber and ignoranter." I literally have no idea what the X post is even about, let alone what sort of negative commentary it might invite that would lead someone to choose to block comments. I mean, I am TOTALLY clueless about this whole thing.

Now as to why OP would think it's a bad look for them to post about or why people would care when 95% of people in the CFB world don't know or care to know about this, I don't know
