Would make a lot of sense. No way someone’s play falls off that bad if you ain’t hurt

Everyone in the program is saying Milroe isn't hurt. I think he is. I think he got hurt against SC and either isn't telling anyone or people in the program are covering for him. He does not look like the same player over the last 6 quarters.

He was overthrowing WRs on Saturday in a way that is just unlike him. Say what you want about Milroe, he usually hits guys that are open. He had more shite throws on Saturday than all of the previous games combined.

If this is true, then he isn't a team player and is making it more about himself and less about the team.

Well if he’s playing with a broken foot then the coaches have failed him and the team. If he can’t run he can’t be effective. They’re also not doing him personally any favors from a draft perspective. I don’t buy that he has a broken foot.

This feels like the most drawn out “cornerback suddenly limps after getting burned on a play“ for Milroe. He just looked like he sucked. Did the “broken foot” make him completely miss open receivers or not even throw them the ball? I’m thinking these are just excuses and he’s not injured. Perfectly fine being proven wrong though.

ETA: If I am proven wrong and he is hurt, then pull him!! Maybe pull him just for being bad!

Coach Smook is a Milroe boot licker for those who don’t know. So it’s not a surprise that he’s blocking and tackling for Milroe and his shitty quarterback play.

Yes, a "broken foot" can affect a QB's mechanics and make his passes off-target. Milroe's mechanics aren't great to start with, so if something is off with his base, it'd likely significantly affect his accuracy, power, etc.

Disclaimer: I'm not defending Milroe's play this past Saturday and a foot injury would not excuse him from not seeing wide open guys.

Agreed. People who defend him, inexplicably, have come up with the injury story. I don’t buy it. He is making the same mistakes that he was making two years ago. Time for people to admit that he’s not the future at the position for Alabama and that we need to turn the page.

I’ve seen Milroe throw some absolutely beautiful passes right on the money, but I’ve also seen him sail a lot of balls and throw a lot of errant passes even when 100% healthy. You’re right, in that he threw relatively more of those against Tenner last Saturday, but let’s not act like his inaccuracy in that game was completely out of character.

While he’s been better about it this year, he’s always struggled with intermediate stuff and ball placement.

I don’t buy that he’s hurt, but if he is, he should have been on the bench.

Sigh. It's like no one is willing to accept the fact that an Alabama QB can naturally be this bad.

Milroe's foot wasn't broken last year during the famine games. His foot wasn't broken the year before. This is who and what Milroe is. A bad player who catches a little break here and there.

So Milroe has:

1. Politicked against Saban to the point where they mutinied after Milroe got benched

2. Big dicked DeBoer in January threatening to leave and take half the roster with him

3. Again leveraged DeBoer to insure that there wasn’t an open competition

4. Played hurt because he’s a selfish prick apparently

Did I miss anything

Milroe. Is. Not. Injured.

I told you all to prepare for this narrative before the damn game even ended.

The media convince people the sky is purple.

Plenty of smoke that there is turmoil in the locker room surrounding number 4. Some of it is behind the pay wall at TI, and some of it is available for free.

About 20% of his passes against UT were simply uncatchable. They were thrown into the stands just about. He's usually decently accurate, although he's never been good about timing. He will get a pass to the intended target but it's often after the target is clear and open and not when the guy is still covered.

He was aiming for Ryan Williams on some sideline passes and simply throwing them 5 feet above his head. That's not normal for him.

So we are wrong for speculating that he could have been injured based on what we observed (him looking scared to take off, aiming the ball and being much more inaccurate than he has been all season) but its ok to speculate that there is "turmoil in the locker room" based on "smoke" from anon message board posters that you won't share with us?

fwiw I believe that IF he is injured then it isn't anything serious, and if he does have a significant injury that they are keeping a secret, then why the hell did he play on Saturday?

He's hurt so bad and they won't play another QB?

BS.
