Vandy… Tennessee… A&M has a real chance to make fist SECCG appearance… hell Kentucky took out a good Ole Miss team & gave y’all hell… South Carolina has a solid team… Mizzou is probably fool’s gold but they’re winning their games… Bama is not what they used to be but still managed to knock off the dawgs… Iowa state making a case… I could go on.

I've already addressed Vandy.

Tennessee is doing better because they have an actual good coach for the first time in a very very long time. NIL and Portal are tools that every school has at their disposal, but Tenn's upswing is 100% coaching.

A&M, we'll see how good they turn out to be, but could say the same as I said about Tenn. Finally get a good coach, finally start getting some good results. It's not because of the portal and NIL. Those are just tools that every program utilizes. AnM has recruiting in the top ten every year for a very long time predating nil and Portal, couldn't ever do shite with it. Good coach, suddenly you start to see results. Not portal or NIL related. In fact, in their case, you could say NIL and Portal fricked them up because they relied too heavily on it early on, diving right into the pool instead of getting their feet wet like the other smart schools did.

Kentucky has long been an "almost good" football program. NIL and Portal have not changed that. Their transfer QB from UGA not working out so well for them.

South Carolina is not a world beater, in fact they actually suck. Their own fans will tell you the same.

Mizzou won the SEC East back to back in 2013 and 14 I believe. They weren't bottom feeders for which NIL and Portal came along to "save" them.
