Was Texas overrated or was it just an off night?

This.

The reality is Texas did have an off night. But so did UGA. The yardage in this game is currently 277 for UGA and 230 for Texas. 3 turnovers for UGA, 4 for Texas.

UGA played just as poorly as they did against Bama. But Texas instead of having a good game like Bama did (or at least a good first half), played poorly instead.

But that suggests that UGA still would have won if both had played well. It would have taken a good game from Texas and a below average or worse one for UGA for Texas to get the win.

I don't know about overrated, we started the year 4th and the teams above us lost. We had a horrendous first half, but Georgia deserves the credit for that. They came out and hit us in the mouth and put us in a hole we couldn't get out of, props to them.

Why does it matter? There’s no need to be undefeated.

When you play Dancing Queen in the 4th quarter of a big game you're losing, you honestly don't belong in big time football

Overrated.

You don't get SEC cred till you actually win it.

Texas hadn’t played anyone worth a damn. So their 6-0 was a mirage. They got punched in the mouth by a team with a heartbeat.
