Im 100% in support of Kalen DeBoer and believe that he will win big at Alabama.
The defensive calls and/or execution is a trainwreck right now. I don't claim to know why, but the what isn't good on that side of the ball. LBs are tentative and soft and the safeties are tied in knots. The young / new CBs get a free pass IMO for busts, but the safety bust rate is completely unsustainable if we want to beat other elite teams.
On offense I suspect that if we get Proctor / Roberts / Pritchett healthy at the same time our offense is as good as anyone in the country. Unfortunately we've only really had that maybe one week so far this year so we're sputtering because we can't sustain drives.
Milroe also took a huge step forward against UGA then a huge step back against USCe. Until the OL can sustain the rushing attack the offense will be determined by the effectiveness of Jalen Milroe to process looks and make plays.
