Tennessee Football will be without senior linebacker Keenan Pili for the remainder of season. Pili was hurt on the opening drive for the Vols in their 23-17 overtime win over Florida.

Head coach Josh Heupel announced Monday at his weekly press conference that Pili has suffered a torn ACL.

Pili out

Very expensive game for both teams. I saw it posted that UF lost Mertz for the year.

It's that time of year when the backup could be your starter after any given play. Everyone is starting to get beat up.

Yeah this is a really huge loss for Tennessee. You don't really replace your leading tackler and captain of the defense.

Massive loss. He was basically our captain on defense. Next man up.

Stfu moron. This is a big loss for our D. He's not just really good, he's a well established team leader in the lockerroom and out on the field. Guys like that aren't easily replaceable by young talent.

Genuinely sorry your QB doesn’t know how to walk.

That sucks for him. I hate to see any player get hurt during the season especially his senior year.

What's your excuse? Or will you need extra for losing more than 4?

It definitely hurts our chances for victory. However, you have to be ready to lose any player on any play.

If we don't have the depth, that is on the coaching staff. They have been given plenty of NIL money to bring in who they need.

We definitely have some nice young talent behind him. Am more worried about the morale loss it can cause on the sidelines when the going gets tough so to speak. Those long dink and dunk drives by opposing offenses just got more dangerous for us.

The way to beat us is to dink and dunk it as much as possible like Arky did and hope our offense goes a few three and outs so our defense gets gassed early.

New leaders need to step up. We got some real dawgs on that side of the ball fortunately. Our offense could learn a lot from them as far as mental toughness goes.

Is he not allowed in the locker room anymore?? Is he not allowed on the sideline?? Can he not coach players up in the huddle??

You sound like you never played football before to make such a dumbass comment. Players feed off each other out on the field and knowing he's not out there will 100 percent be in their minds, especially the younger guys.

Still doesn't mean we won't kick your asses all the way back to Tuscaloosa though gump. We don't need our best LB to beat you at home, fortunately.

You'll be a good warm up for UGA nothing more.
