Only top 10 SEC, even though there are a total of 9 SEC teams in top 25

Nah. I'm glad Kansas took the heat. I didn't want to start out #1. #2 is a perfect starting point, and still our best ever preseason ranking. You can use #2 as motivation.

Actually, frick Kansas, but for many other different reasons.

Tough fricking schedule makes for a fun regular season, and a tough as nails tournament team. Oats wants that National Championship bad!

I wondered when somebody would post this. I don't follow basketball that much anymore but I was surprised. Making the final 4 last year surprised me. The only Alabama team that I thought could, and maybe should have, won it all was when Leon Douglas played. The Rocket 8 were good but were ineligible for the tourney. They would have faced Bill Russell's San Francisco team.

As someone who used to camp out for Mark's Madness the current state of Alabama basketball is as close to nirvana as I'll ever get from the basketball program.

5- Omoruyi- Sherrell
4- Nelson- Stephenson
3- Youngblood-Reid
2- Wrightselle-Mallette
1- Sears-Philon

Depth with Cunningham, Holloway, Dioubote

We’ve got legitimate depth at every spot on the floor and a great mix of veterans and youth. There’s 5 or 6 future nba players on this roster. No excuse not to start hot and stay hot.

I expect there to be some growing pains as there always are with roster turnover. I also expect to blow the doors off some really good teams.

If we do have Rat Poison….we will find out very quickly. Half our games are against top 25 teams.

We have another brutal schedule this year. Throw in Youngblood being out till conference play and so many new faces, it could take some time to gel and find the right rotations. Obviously big expectations this year but I think we should expect some rough patches.
