I guess struggling with USC is more impressive than a struggle win versus a programs arch nemesis.

Ole Miss loses in OT on the road and drops 10 spots. Bama is a 21 pt favorite to Vandy and loses via the mercy knee. They only fall 6 spots. Then the following week at home Bama is -22 against South Carolina and squeak out a 2 pt win because USC qb handed them the game. Bama stays at 7. Make it make it make sense.

Biggest drop by far.
OP updated to include position change metric and others receiving votes.

Im an LSU and Penn St fan. Penn St looks very beatable but their defense is pretty good. They are definitely beatable but this is all that’s left on their schedule

Wisconsin 4-2
Ohio St 5-1
Washington 4-3
Purdue 1-5
Minnesota 4-3
Maryland 3-3

So 1 loss to Ohio St? Maybe that’s what they are voting on. They did just beat the only team to beat LSU so would you move them below 6?

Again, the fallacy of it all. Arkansas loses in OT to a (then) ranked Oklahoma State, loses on a turnover to ranked aTm, beats #4 UTn and gets 13 votes. UTn loses to an unranked Arkansas team, gets taken to OT by a 3-2 Florida team and remains in the Top 10.

Ole Miss plays a schedule of cupcakes, runs into a 2-2 UK team and loses, then loses to LSU in OT for a 1-2 conference record yet remains in the Top 20.

More lucky to not have Texas in the conference anymore.
