Cat looks like a genius at Ole Miss. Don’t recall liking him very much at Bama

I know. Sitting here wondering where the hell was this D when he was in Tuscaloosa.

It’s possible Saban would not let him run his own system.

That's not very hard when you waste a defense that had the following players on it....

- Brian Branch
- Will Anderson
- Dallas Turner
- DeMarcco Hellams
- Henry To'o To'o
- Terrion Arnold
- Kool Aid McKinstry
- Chris Braswell
- Malachi Moore

Golding defense has given up 13 total points in going on the past 8 quarters.

Guess he's having the last laugh.

Buddy said we need to get Pruitt back. I don’t disagree.

Defense showed signs of life early. Now there are people running free in the secondary

Bro had the steel curtain to work with at Bama and he still somehow found a way to frick Alabama out of 2 national championships.

Saban was known for being controlling of his OC/DC. So this is 100% a given.

Well evidently that costs us. This D could have helped every now and then.

Aside from the system, how do you explain the sometimes poor (relative to past Saban-Bama defenses) fundamentals?

Well he’s getting carved right now vs LSU. Look Alabama is playing bad football on offense and defense. I’m not gonna bail on the coaches who were just hired installing a new defense. Prior to the season we all hoped we’d be 5-1 at this point with the understanding that 4-2 was pretty likely with a new staff. The Georgia win gave a lot of fans an overinflated idea of who Bama was. Truth is I’d rank Bama below Texas, Georgia (even though we won) aTm and LSU. That’s just where I see this team at this point. Maybe they figure something out at TN next week and maybe not. If they can get a win next week no matter how it looks and at LSU then I like this teams chances but honestly does anyone think Bama wins the next two with any real confidence?

Next two? Next three could easily be losses and I don’t feel any better about OU. Its not a stretch to think we could lose 5 more games.

As much as I would like JP to come back it isn't going to happen. I wished the dude had never went to Tenn.

Not only is it a stretch. It's moronic to even suggest it.

Gtfo

Tennessee is a push
Missouri is a push
LSU is a push
OU is a push
Mercer win
Auburn is a push just because it's the Iron Bowl

We lost to Vandy and South Carolina had us on the ropes. Nothing is a guaranteed win for the rest of the season. You're the moron here.

Using the transitive property in football, and I'm the moron.

Sure, Jan.

Umm dumbass I'm basing it off our play the last two weeks, almost blowing a 30-7 lead against Georgia and South Flordia hanging with us for 3 quarters. Try again.

Helps your defense when your qb isn't turning the ball over 6x in two games.

Right. That's the transitive property, genius.

See... in sports how you play in one game doesn't affect how you play in the next game. It's as if the games are completely different events.
