Saban has to be furious! Leaves DeBoer with Lambo and he's turned it into a VW Rabbit!

I would give good money to be able to read Saban's mind these days. You know he has to be ready to rip DeBoer's head off. He leaves DeBoer with arguably one of the most talented rosters a new coach has ever inherited, and less than half way through the season, Vandy absolutely embarrasses Alabama on national TV in one of the biggest upsets in college football history.
I'm not a gambling man, but if those two were locked in a room, all my money would be on Saban beating the crap out of DeBoer! I could definitely see the midget man going bonkers on DeBoer.

Saban probably doesn’t care that much as with this loss it makes him more legit than ever, plus all the money he has. He also knows NIL era is different and exactly why he retired.

Or it just enhances Saban’s legacy.

Saban didn’t seem too upset when he himself lost the last few years. I think he realized things had changed.

You make a lot of good points, but I think Saban does care because that's his team out there. He recruited all of them, built relationships with them and spent countless hours coaching them hard and now he sees all of his hard work crumble before him!

BAMA's defense was not a Lambo when Saban left. Hadn't been in a while.

Nobody is making that argument. BAMA doesn't have one 1st or 2nd round 2025 NFL draft pick on this defense. To say otherwise is fricking retarded.

Yeah he and the players who actually worked hard to win championships were mad.
Only the unatheltic fat drunks who barely understand what they're watching truly feel the pain of the losses.

You need to find a better crack dealer because you've been smoking some bad stuff, if you think Alabama won't have a defensive player drafted until the third round. I guarantee, barring an injury. that four Alabama players will get drafted in the first two rounds, and two will be defensive players.
In the first round, I could see Milroe, Booker and possibly Moore, if he has a good year. In the second round, I think Lawson will definitely go and could possibly slip into the first round with a great season. I also think several other Alabama defensive players could possibly move into the second round.
I find it hilarious when I hear Alabama fans that act like Saban left DeBoer with no talent. You don't finish 1-2 in recruiting

Can you name another coach that has inherited a better roster than DeBoer? There may be one or two in the history of college football, but it's clear, there are not many!

Coaches and players have egos and tend to care a hell of a lot more about their own glory and legacy than they do their former team. Few genuinely want the next guy or team to be more successful than they were.
In ten years, do you think J.J. McCarthy would rather be the only Michigan QB to win a natty this century or one of 3-4 to do it?

You’re crazy if you don’t think Alabama doesn’t have a good team. They beat Georgia when all thought they were the team to beat. So they are still a top team. They likely can lose another game and still have a chance to be a top 12 team

Are we talking regular Rabbit or GTI? As a past owner of a GTI I'd much rather drive one of those than a temperamental Lambo that causes paranoia every time it leaves the garage.

I once left a job and the whole place went to absolute shite and I couldn't have been happier watching it all go to hell without me.
