Longhorns couldn't put them away until the 4th qtr. That was in Austin, too.
They could very well upset us in Athens if Vandy could whip the Tide last week.

THE Dawgs need to be ready and alert for the Maroon Dawgs.

Y’all could name the score. We’ve got more issues than the election candidates.

UGA's got'em, too. Thinning ranks due to injuries causing depth problems and not to mention some players who have a fascination with signing their autographs to speeding tickets given by police officers and others making unscheduled visits to the jail cell.

State is pretty good, though. Toledo only put 41 up on them.

That won't happen. We may lose to Ole Miss, Tennessee or Texas or all three. But we won't lose games to teams we're heavily favored to beat.

No need to worry about Texas, Georgia gonna roll.

nvm 594-292 total offense, early TD drop, 2 early RB fumbles, 2 drive killing redzone penalties... yet Texas was never in doubt or even sweating (if you actually watched the game)

oh yeah and it was Texas' backup QB

gonna be a "peach-walk" for Georgia, sure... whatever makes yall feel "safe" rn... Austin crowd is SOFT :)

Toledo is better than Texas. Okay. I can go with that.

At home. Against by far the worst team in the league.

If this is any indication, Texas fans are going to be shedding some tears against teams like Georgia, Arkansas, and A&M.

Especially A&M. They're used to losing to Arkansas as of late. :)

I think Texas (especially with Arch) is just not a great team. They have played nobody, besides an above average rebuilding Michigan team. Things are going to get tough for the horns the next few of weeks.

Didn't Alabama only lead USF by 1 in the middle of the 4th quarter? Didn't Georgia lose to Alabama in the same building after only leading for 10 seconds of the game?

It's almost like good teams can sleepwalk past overmatched teams?

State had a solid game plan against Texas (keep Texas' offense on the sideline). Kirby will probably try to mimic the same strategy next week. Texas also played a D- game, silly penalties, turnovers and dropped walk in touchdowns allowed this game to stay close. Outside of Lebby's game plan, (which needs to be addressed by the coaching staff) I don't put much stock in to that game. We were fortunate to play State when we slept walked into a game like that. With that being said, State will sneak up on someone this season.

I actually would not be surprised if they hand A&M their second loss in a few weeks.

Miss. St trailed Texas 35-13 when the game ended.

Texas played their worst game of the year, with QB2, and won by 3 TD's.

The rest of the SEC got embarrassed in their worst games.

Who do you think has a better offense than Texas?

Who do you think has a better defense than Texas?

Whose defense is better than the Texas offense?

Whose offense is better than the Texas defense?

I think it's obvious that most people on this thread actually didn't watch Texas/MSU and are just quoting the stat line. On the other hand, viewers know that the Longhorns made a lot of mistakes and that the coaches didn't do much to adjust to MSU getting 3-4 rushing yards on 1st and 2nd down.

No biggie if people think we lose to OU and GA. Hey, we very well could if we don't play to our expected level.

Texas didn't care in that game and it showed. Still won by 3 TDs.

Against a decent team, that's going to get you an L.
