Was never a thing when Nick was at LSU, certainly was never a thing when he coached the Dolphins, wasn't even a thing his first decade at Bama, so how and when did the Miss Terry phenomenon start?

Yes it was

She has been pretty involved in the Tuscaloosa community from the get go in 2007. Grew from there with her involvement in Nick’s Kids Foundation.

Saban has called her Miss Terry and joked about her being the boss for years.

It might not have gone national as it is now but he definitely called his wife “Ms. Terry” on his radio show, in pressers, around the community etc

Calling a woman "Miss" in front of her name is very common in the south.
My wife calls damn near every woman she knows "Miss" whatever.

Then you weren't paying attention because he's been calling her "Miss Terry" since he's been at Alabama.

At LSU.... no telling who saban was calling "Miss Terry."

Saban has called her Miss Terry for as long as I can remember. Folks that live in Bama and keep up with Bama daily probably are just exposed to it more than folks that live outside the state or keeps up with Bama Football in a casual fashion.

When Saban told his publicist, "let's milk the Saban name for every dime we can."
I'm waiting on the Lane Kiffin/Kristen Saban sex tape to break.

Don't hold your breath. The chances of that tape getting released are as slim as UG's chances of legitimately beating Alabama...

Try again. He definitely referred to her as Miss Terry as LSU.

You’re not wrong but I honestly don’t remember her being called that when he was at LSU. It’s been 20 years now so my memory could be failing but I don’t remember that becoming a thing (at least publicity) until he got to Alabama

I don't think I even knew who his wife was until he was at Alabama and heard the stories about how he was hired and how they had to get her on board first.
